Simulation of nuclear effects in quasi elastic and resonant neutrino interactions
The effects of nuclear re-interactions in quasi elastic and resonant neutrino interactions have been considered in the framework of the nuclear models of the DPMJET code. A preliminary investigation on the modifications induced on the final state has been performed. Some consequences affecting the experimental identification are discussed.
متن کاملMetadata Management System (MMS)
Much have been said about metadata which is “data about data” used for classification and retrieval of information. However, metadata is not created by itself. This paper will present the design, interface and implementation of our own metadata tool called Metadata Management System, MMS that was developed to facilitate the creation, maintenance and storage of metadata. This metadata tool suppo...
متن کاملModeling interactions for resonant p-wave scattering.
In view of recent experiments on ultracold polarized fermions, the zero-range potential approach is generalized to situations where two-body scattering is resonant in the p-wave channel. We introduce a modified scalar product which reveals a deep relation between the geometry of the Hilbert space and the interaction. This formulation is used to obtain a simple interpretation for the transfer ra...
متن کاملImplementation of quantum algorithms with resonant interactions
Construction of quantum computer is an enormously appealing task because of quantum computational potential to perform superfast quantum algorithms. Two classes of quantum logarithms illustrate the great theoretical promise of quantum computers. One is based on Shor’s Fourier transformation including quantum factoring [1], Deutsh-Jozsa logarithm [2] and so on, which are all exponential speedup ...
متن کاملAddendum on Resonant Final-State Interactions
For hadronic two-body decays of charmed mesons involving η or η′, resonance-induced finalstate interactions (FSI) that mimic the W -exchange or the W -annihilation topology can play an essential role. In particular, the decays D0 → Kη′ and D+ → π+η, which are largely suppressed in the absence of FSI, are enhanced dramatically by resonant FSI. It is stressed that the effect of resonant FSI is ne...
